Well, I’ve had this laptop just over a week and thus far, I am still very happy with it! I bought a battery on ebay for it and the battery should be in soon. I also managed to give Linux Ubuntu on here via a Live USB, so Windows is gone!
The production meeting ended up being a bust. Mat didn’t get off work on time and didn’t text or call me to let me know, so my producer and I ended up clearing our evening for nothing. But that’s okay. We’re pushing forward. I’m not the kind of person that waits for others. I make things happen. Trex and I went location scouting today to figure out where we want to shoot the opener. I’m looking for an alley with a dead end that my character can execute a wall run on. Pretty hard to come by in Spokane, as we found out today. But I’m not worried. We’ll come up with something.
I started two spreadsheets yesterday. The first is of all the equipment we think we’ll need. The other is the crew positions. I’ve filled in our names for the ones that Trex and I are filling ourselves. It looks like we’ll have to hire 11 crew members, plus actors and extras. Not bad. Definitely the largest crew I’ve ever had, but it’s going to be worth it.
