Wow, so this site is up for less than a week, and already I’m on blog number four. I guess I wanted to really cover the preproduction process of this film. I was talking with one of my producers tonight, Chris Trechter, I basically drew a line. He’s a Catholic, and this film could very well be considered anti catholic in that it shows the truth that the Vatican is the antichrist. It always has been. Out of respect, I told him that I would fill him in on the story as soon as possible. If it wasn’t something he felt comfortable with, we agreed that he wouldn’t work on the film, no hard feelings. We had talked about a possible story before, but it wasn’t sitting well with me. Had I chosen to go with that story, I felt like I would be compromising some of my beliefs. I told him why I didn’t want to go with that film. We talked more about what I was looking to do, and I wrote down some of the ideas, which I’m not ready to post yet. I will say this though. I will be inventing a new genre that I call The Christian Blockbuster.
Mat Strobeck, the other producer will be coming over possibly on Thursday to meet and go over Rise of the Beast.
