A few updates for today. First, after much prayer and thinking, I’ve added some issues in the script where the catholic church’s forgiveness of sins is seen as blasphemy. I understand that this will make the film much more controversial than it was, but this is no longer my movie. It’s God’s, and I’m going to do whatever I’m told, even if it means possibly alienating some people. The biggest drawback to this is that now my former producer doesn’t want to be involved in the project. I can completely respect that, and there’s no hard feelings. We knew and agreed going into it that if the film went this direction, he would back out. He left some big shoes to fill, and I hope I can find someone who can fill them.
On a more positive note, Ariel Cansino (Tanya from my first movie, “Wulf”) came across my casting ad on craigslist and wants to audition. I sent her script, so hopefully she gets back to me soon. I would love to work with her again!
Well, that’s about it for now. I have a busy week ahead of me, so time to get back to work.
